Spare and Replacement Parts
General Guidelines...
Lee Laser maintains at all times a comprehensive stocking of all of the general consumable
and replacement parts that are needed to support the operation of all of our currently
manufactured lasers products. The most frequently replaced parts for the lamp-pumped
Series 600 and Series 800 lasers are listed in the Consumable Parts Kits that have been
defined for these lasers. A slightly more inclusive listing may be found in the General
Maintenance Kits. All of these parts may be purchased either in the kits or individually..
Parts for Series 700 Lasers
In 1994, Lee Laser ceased the manufacture of the Series 700 CW and Q-switched Nd:YAG
Lasers, in favor of the Series 800 lasers that were introduced in 1992. However, Lee Laser
still maintains a stocking of all of the consumable parts that are needed for the Series 700
lasers, and many unique parts that may be required to replace damaged or defective original
parts. In 2004, Lee Laser decided to no longer stock rarely needed replacement parts for the
Series 700 lasers, including most printed circuit boards.
Laser Model Number and Serial Number
Lee Laser maintains an individual file for each of the more than 8000 lasers that we have
manufactured since 1984. Each file contains detailed information about the assembly and
testing of that laser. The file for each of these lasers may be identified by the following
information:
- Laser Model Number
- Laser Serial Number
This information for each laser may be found on a label that Lee Laser is required by the U.S.
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to place on every laser product that we manufacture.
The label shown below may be found on the lower, rear panel of the power supply
cabinet of each laser. The model and serial number information also may be found on page
1-1 of the Operation Manual for the laser, and on page 1-4, TEST DATA.

To avoid the shipment of incorrect replacement parts for a laser, Lee Laser requests that
customers state the Model Number and Serial Number of their laser at the time that they
request replacement part information, or when they place their order for such parts. Although
customers may already know the Part Numbers for the parts that they wish to purchase, the
model and serial number information will permit Lee Laser to verify these numbers.
As an OEM manufacturer of Nd:YAG laser products, Lee Laser often customizes the design of
our lasers for different OEM customers. This means that some parts that are used in a laser
for a particular OEM customer may differ from the similar parts that are used in the
commercial models of the laser. The parts for the commercial models may not fit into the
OEM configurations, or they may result in reduced laser performance, or even damage to the
laser. Therefore, it is vital that customers order the correct parts for their lasers.

Service Responsibility for OEM Lasers
Approximately 95 % of Lee Laser sales are to OEM customers that install our lasers into their
products. These integrated laser systems are distributed worldwide by their manufacturer. If
a performance problem develops within the laser system, it is the manufacturer of the laser
system that has the service responsibility for the complete machine, including the laser that is
inside.
Service or repair, or the use of parts, by an agent that is not authorized by the laser system
manufacturer may result in deficient performance or damage to the system. Therefore, most
of Lee Laser s OEM customers state that they alone, or their authorized agent, must be the
sole provider of service and replacement parts. Lee Laser honors this request by our OEM
customers. Oftentimes, Lee Laser will refer an end-use customer that wishes to purchase
replacement parts to the original manufacture of the laser system. By doing this, Lee Laser
can ensure that the end-use customer will obtain the proper parts and service for his laser
system.

Replacement Parts Listings
Lee Laser has posted on its internet website a listing of Replacement Parts of our most
popular commercial lasers. These listings are by no means complete, but contain the Part
Numbers and Descriptions of the most parts that will ever require replacement.
As stated above, some specially configured lasers may contain parts that are different from
those that are listed in for the commercial laser models. For this reason, we again emphasize
the need for the laser Model Number and Serial Number information at the time of a request
for parts information or prices.

Replacement Parts Prices
Prices for replacement parts have been omitted from the parts listings. The replacement parts
business in the laser industry is very competitive, so for obvious reasons we do not list them
on our internet website.
Prices for replacement parts are established by cost of manufacture and industry forces. Lee
Laser recognizes that these parts are vital to the continued operation of the laser products that
we manufacture, and are vital to the end-use customers that operate them. The prices of
many Lee Laser replacement parts have remained unchanged since the company was formed
in 1984.
Customers that wish to purchase replacement parts should be prepared to provide the laser
Model Number and Serial Number.
